In Chinese art, the Four Gentlemen or Four Noble Ones, literally meaning "Four Junzi", is a collective term referring to four plants: the plum blossom, the orchid, the bamboo, and the chrysanthemum (梅兰竹菊). The following artworks are completed during June and July, 2022. The last one was completed on July 15, 2022, and each artwork takes around 6 hours to complete (including sketching, practicing, redrawing, etc.). They can also be viewed in "Artwork"-"Chinese Brush Painting" on this website.
The artworks (45cm x 113cm) are soon to be put in glass frames, hung on the wall, and exhibited at the concourse of my school from July 23, 2022 (College Day) onwards as part of a self-initiated Chinese Art Exhibition in hopes of letting more guests, teachers, and fellow students learn more about and appreciate Chinese culture.
